Irish firm secures Riyadh Metro air supply contract

Irish air purification products manufacturer, WellAir, has been awarded the contract to supply its plasma air ionization solutions for the Riyadh Metro project.

 

The contract, awarded by Petra Engineering Industries, will ensure that the new stations benefit from clean indoor air, free from harmful pollutants and contaminants.

 

Petra's Jordan facility provided the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) ionization equipment to lines 4, 5, and 6 and included Plasma Air in their systems. These ionization systems are designed to safely control bacteria, mold, odors, and PM2.5 effectively.

 

"By working with Petra Engineering Industries, we can make a significant impact in the field of indoor air quality. I am convinced that we will not stop here and hope to collaborate in the future," WellAir’s CEO Kevin Devlin said.
